The DOHAIS system is designed to maintain operating room conditions in accordance with KEMENKES Regulation No. 40, covering RH control, temperature, ACH, laminar airflow, and fresh air supply. It integrates NUVOLT and DOHAIS technologies to ensure clean and sterile air at all times

How the DOHAIS System Works

Step by Step

Air with a temperature of 20–28°C and relative humidity (RH) of 40–100% enters the AHU Mixing Box. Before further processing, the air is sterilized from biological contaminants using the DOHAIS system, which generates 1,000–5,000 plasma ions. The air then passes through a pre-filter, medium filter, or HEPA filter for further purification.

Moist air is dehumidified using Nuvolt via a bypass air process, then directed into a cooling coil to reduce the temperature. If needed, an electric heater (1–2 kW) is activated as a backup heating source.

Clean air is then delivered to the operating room through a HEPA Laminaire system, with an airflow rate of 0.125–0.75 m³/s and maintained at a temperature of 18–22°C.

Contaminated air from the operating room is sterilized again and expelled through the Microcon-600 exhaust system, which is equipped with plasma sterilization, a full set of filters, and a variable-speed fan (50–600 CFM) to maintain room pressure between 5–30 Pascals.

DOHAIS can be applied in hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical warehouses, food processing facilities, and cold storage environments.
